Book Ferret welcomes submissions of books by local authors for consideration.

Books considered for consignment must meet the following criteria:

• Authors must reside in the Winston-Salem area.

• Books must be professionally proofed, edited, designed, and published.

• Books must have a spine showing the title and author.

• Books must have an ISBN printed on the back cover.

• Books must be priced comparably to others of its type.

• Books must be appropriate for our store (e.g. it should not be in a genre that we do not stock or promote.)

• We do not accept books published by Amazon or its imprints.

• Books must be available via Ingram.

• Book Ferret reserves the right to reject a book for any reason.

If we accept your book, we will pay you 60% of the retail price for any copies that we sell. We regularly review the status of consignment titles. If a title does not sell well, we request the author pick up unsold copies. Copies that are not picked up within one month are discarded or donated.
